 Marbella- the awesome bullfighting arena

Spain is nonetheless has the most sun-kissed beaches I have ever visited. With a variety of nightlife ranging from the most pristine disco houses to the wildest disco event I have ever engage in. You indeed will go out to these tourist places with a smile in your face. But when we hop from one tourist spot to another doing the same thing like dancing all night long and even dancing under the sun it became monotonous.

I decided to join my friends to watch a bullfight. We ended up at El Toreo, S.L. Plaza de Toros and entered the raging plaza of Plaza de Toros De Marbella. You bet!! I was scared to death and excited at the same time. My seatmates during the event are raging with emotions that they are shouting angry words in Spanish which I imitated with such gusto I almost felt like a native. Well, if you are a Spanish language enthusiast it is a better way of learning new vocabularies. You bet! I was indeed so attracted with the man that is engage in the activity.

I lived in Washington DC all my life and the only animal I am acquainted with and talk with is Ritchie- my goldfish which I left behind in my grandparent’s house. So, seeing an angry bull charging humans astounds my very soul. In fact, I know that bullfighting raises so many issues world wide but the sports itself is so enthralling that I love it very much.

The origin of bullfighting is unknown but it is very famous in Latin America countries, southern France and it is a traditional activity in Spain and Portugal. The toreros and forcados are indeed magnificent. The move of avoiding the bull is so graceful and looks so easy. Yet, I know that being a hero in a bullfight takes years of practice starting from early childhood. Some bullfight according to the audience, ended not so good because the hero is injured. Lucky for this bullfighting event because everything is well and good and it ended with a jovial atmosphere.

When they refer to bullfighting as an art I don’t see the sense in it. But as I see the matador hero swing it swords and cape, I indeed agree to the reference. The matador is applauded with his skill and calm emotions in face of injury or even death and its ability in moving the cape.

This is one jovial art in Marbella and I experience it only here in Marbella.
