Have A Very Merry Christmas in Marbella

Have A Very Merry Christmas in Marbella
MARBELLA is located in the Andalucian region of Spain and thus, it has a very unique Mediterranean view. At this time of the year, a lot of people from Britain and Scandinavian countries troop here to spend Christmas in a very Mediterranean way. However, there are not as many people as there are during summer when Marbella has visitors as its peak. Yet again, winter is not as cold here as the rest of Spain so definitely there will still be foreign tourists here during the Christmas season. And one more thing, the tourists here are loved by by the caroling children every Christmas. So make sure to be compassionate to these children. After all, Christmas is a children’s celebration since this is when the birth anniversary of Christ is commemorated.

Marbella has a new spa. And the local government of Marbella is also planning to construct a new natural park and an 8,000-square meter at that. In 2009, it is preparing to become the new sports capital of Europe with the onslaught of various activities here. In fact, Marbella will be restoring what will be known as the University of Spanish for Foreigners. The university will be catered to so many visitors and exchange students coming from Britain and other related countries. These Caucasian students will all be getting Spanish as a second language course and this will surely be a boom once again for hte economy of Marbella. There will definitely be a ripple for this in the Marbella economy. The first one will be lots of jobs for Spanish teachers. Even though this is just an insignificant portion of the Spanish economy, it can greatly help the family of the Spanish teacher. The second ripple will be that Marbella’s tourism will greatly increase in the next few years or so. The exchange students who have been here will disseminate the information to their compatriots back home that there will be an interesting place always in Marbella whether it is summer or winter.

The new spa in Marbella is indeed state of the art. It is located in Sentidos en Rio Real Hotel and it is called the Petite Serenite Spa. It is aptly named as such because it is really very unassuming in its undertones. It does not boast or brag and just looks like an ordinary spa from far away but once you’re inside, you can say that there are indeed lots of amenities here. And they have just open in time for the Christmas season here in Spain. After all, Spain has one of the longest Christmas seasons in the world. It begins four Sundays before December 25 in a season called Advent. This year, it falls under December 2. It will end on Epiphany which is usually celebrated every first Sunday of January of the succeeding year.

Everything traditional is offered at the Petite Serenite Spa. Olive oil and a host of other citrus and orange herbs are used to rejuvenate the skin and relieve the dead skin cells from the body. So whenever you are here in Marbella, always make it a point to visit the Petite Serenite Spa and especially so this Christmas season so as to open the New Year with literally a very wonderful skin and body. Yet again, it is not just the spa that is an attraction in the hotels here in Marbella. Most of the hotels here have golf courses and all of the instructors and caddies therein are PGA-certified. That’s why there are lots of five-star hotels here in Marbella because of the inclusion of golf courses. For Marbella takes seriousness in its tourism industry, Christmas season or not.

 Spending Christmas in Marbella

Spending Christmas in Marbella

MARBELLA is the epitome of how people live the lifestyle of the rich. Many celebrities have lived here including Sean Connery, Joan Collins, couple Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith and the later British insurer Mark Langford. This is the Beverly Hills of Spain. With those impressive clients, it surely is a conclusion that properties here in Marbella cannot be afford by ordinary people. But that is a popular notion that remains to be disputed.
Marbella still has apartments and duplexes and they all offer a commanding spectacular view of the surroundings which are very similar to the ones where impressive mansions are located. The only difference when one lives in a mansion, a manor or a villa is it has its own acres and acres of lot which are usually plantations and ranches. But living in a flat or a condominium unit in Marbella is good enough for tourists and even for people who have come to call this place a home.
Before plunging into a real estate sale though, it is imperative to note that conducting a background check on all the circumstances surrounding the property is essential. Among the background checks is checking out your neighbors. This is especially true in a communal residential complex such as a duplex. You may want to know who your neighbors are on whether they are potential maniacs if you’ve got children in your household. This is not being grim. This is just being practical.
Also check out the location of the area on whether it is directly in line of sight of floods. You may as well check too whether it is a crime prone one. Duplexes may be grouped together in a compound but check whether the village has ample security system enough to thwart off would be burglars or robbers. A duplex may only fetch at 330,000 euros yet it shows off its Mediterranean elegance. After all, the Mediterranean is not just a sea, it is also a culture.
Mediterranean architecture is characterized with stucco walls, flat tile roofs, arches, wooden balconies, tiled walls and stylish door surrounds. A typical duplex here in Marbella is constructed facing the southeast, particularly the Mediterranean Sea, where one can see the sun when it rises. The communal residences likewise feature a cascading pool. There is another pool – a swimming pond – at the backyard of the sprawling property. There’s open hearth fire to enliven up the place during these cold winter nights in the incoming months. And the security system that I was talking about earlier? A typical duplex here in Mallorca has state of the art video and alarm security systems connected to a central office. So make sure where you’re trying to inhabit has got one.
Here in Mallorca, there are lots of golf courses as leisure spots. They are likewise open these winter holidays. Just be aware that some of these golf courses are for club members only but I’m sure anyone who is interested definitely has the money for it.
